iPhone 3G S over heat discolors Pearl White body

The new iPhone 3G S almost seems like the perfect device, we already knew at the back of our minds that it was only a matter of time before some flaws were discovered. As such is the case, the surfacing of this latest news isn’t at all surprising, but still is a bit of a shocker. Apparently, the iPhone 3G S heats up quite a bit when using 3G and GPS for sometime resulting in an unattractive discoloration on the white version as evidenced in the picture on right. We’re not sure how many people are affected by this problem and if it’s only limited to the white iPhone 3G S, but one confirmed report is still pretty alarming to us. So, how about you guys? Any of you owners of a white iPhone 3G S notice a similar problem with your spanking brand new iPhone?
